      Learning Opportunities

      Overview

This section of the Toolbox provides learning opportunities for various tasks that are common to OCHA IMOs. We encourage you to navigate the pages of this section to find and discover topic-related training materials.

If you are new to the humanitarian sector or/and to OCHA IM, we recommend you start your learning journey by:

      1. Investing time in completing the Building a Better Response (Free) Online Course from the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative(6-8 hour self-pace course). Then, to dive deeper into IM,

      2. Completing the OCHA Principles of Information Management (PRIM) course (2-3 hour self-pace course). This course was developed by FIS and is open (and free) to all OCHA staff and partners. How to access the OCHA PRIM online training?
All humanitarian partners, who may be interested in in the PRIM training, can access it by creating an OCHA Learn account at https://unsec.unssc.org/?tenant=OCHA.

Upon creation of their account, they will be able to access the course at: https://unsec.unssc.org/course/view.php?id=1460&tenant=OCHA

For any technical issues in creating an account or accessing OCHA Learn, please reach out to ochalearning@un.org.
