All OCHA staff have access to the OCHA Global Office (OCHA GO) suite of Microsoft 365 Products (Access, Excel, Onenote, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, and Skype for Business), and a 1TB storage on SharePoint Server. Additionally each OCHA office can have a 1 TB shared drive on SharePoint Server called TeamSite. However, an IM unit needs additional software to process, analyze and disseminate information. The list of tools normally used for an IMU can be found under the tools section in this toolbox

Tableau Tableau Public and Reader are free. Tableau Desktop and Server require a liscense. The HDX / Centre for Humanitarian Data team has obtained limited number of Tableau Desktop licenses from the Tableau Foundation.
PowerBI PowerBI Free is available with OCHA GO. The main difference between a Free or Pro user is centered around sharing and collaboration. Only Pro users can publish content to app workspaces, consume apps without Premium capacity, share dashboards and subscribe to dashboards and reports. Free users can now connect to all data sources through all connectivity options such as DirectQuery, live connection and the use of the data gateway.

Discussions are underway to determine the best approach to ensuring that all OCHA field offices have the necessary software at reasonable corporate rates.
