Overview
Each OCHA office must purchase their own software licenses to access the Esri products. Please contact the appropriate Esri focal points identified below for more information. If advanced features are required, an alternative option could be purchasing a relevant package from the ET GeoWizards.
Please contact Julia Chatellier if you have any specific questions about best licensing options for your operation or any other requests.

Procure ArcGIS
To procure an ArcGIS product/service, a country office would fill in a requisition form with the help of the local administrative team (see sample form). If unsure of what is needed, please contact the ESRI focal points (see above) to discuss the office needs.
If the requisition value falls below $10,000, it could then be done directly on UMOJA by the administrative focal point in-country. Similar requisition could also end up being processed by OCHA Administrative Services Branch colleagues in Geneva who will then submit the final processing/handling to United Nations Geneva Purchase and Transportation Section (UNOG PTS).
Free six-month license for emergencies via ESRI's Disaster Response Programme
In an emergency response, FIS can also request for the six-month emergency license provided by the ESRI Disaster Response Program. This emergency license is typically requested for incoming Stand-by Partner for OCHA Office or to fill the time gap/wait time until the procurement process is finalized.
