Overview
The Digital Situation Report aims to simplify OCHA's current portfolio of field reporting products (Flash Update, Situation Report and Humanitarian Bulletin) by moving out of static PDFs and consolidating into a single online format. It will be more dynamic, visual, and analytical. The platform will save users' time by automating distribution and design. Read More>>
The DSR is built on the content management platform Contentful. The code is open source on GitHub.
Login credentials are shared and stored on the password management platform LastPass.

The minimum requirement for a DSR:
Highlights (min 2, max 5)
Key Image
Key Figure (min 1 figure)
Contact (min 1 contact)
Content item (min 1 item)

Integration - ReliefWeb
The DSR Highlights and Key Image appear on a country’s reliefweb.int Profile Page. The information will be hidden if not updated after 30 days. For examples, see Burundi and Sudan pages.

Image AddedEach time a DSR is published, an automated email is sent to submit@reliefweb.int. ReliefWeb editors will review the DSR and post to ReliefWeb.
Integration – UNOCHA
Offices can request for the Highlights and Key Image to appear on their UNOCHA page. Content will update automatically. For examples, see ROAP and Sudan pages.

Image AddedSocial Media Sharing
DSR content appears as “cards” on the DSR website. Each card has a unique link available for easy sharing. Links remain active even after the content is removed from the DSR.
