As of September 2023, UNOCHA has signed an Enterprise Agreement (EA) with ESRI which allows UNOCHA to provide ArcGIS software to all staff.

Offices do no longer need to purchase their own software . The standard version of ArcGIS is generally suitable for the GIS required by most OCHA offices. Please contact the appropriate ESRI focal points identified below for more information. Please contact FIS if you have any questions or commentslicenses.

Disaster Response Program

Free three-month licenses for emergencies via ESRI's Disaster Response Programme

In an emergency response, FIS can also request a three-month emergency license provided by the ESRI Disaster Response Program.

This emergency license is typically requested for incoming Stand-by Partners for OCHA Offices.
