Offices must purchase their own software. The 'standard' version of ArcGIS is generally suitable for the GIS required by most OCHA offices as it allows topology to be created and corrected. Please Please contact the appropriate ESRI focal points identified below for more information. If advanced features are required an alternative to buying the advanced version of ArcGIS may be ET GeoWizards. Please contact FIS if you have any questions or comments.

Procure ArcGIS
...
To procure an ArcGIS product/service, a country office would typically fill in a requisition form with the help of local administrative office (see sample form).
If the requisition value falls below $10,000, it could then be done directly on UMOJA by the administrative focal point in country. Similar requisition could also end up being processed by OCHA Administrative Services Branch colleagues in Geneva who will then submit the final processing/handling to United Nations Geneva Purchase and Transportation Section (UNOG PTS).
Free six-month license for emergencies via ESRI's Disaster Response Programme
In an emergency response, FIS can also request for six-month emergency license provided by the ESRI Disaster Response Program. This emergency license is typically requested for incoming Stand-by Partner for OCHA Office or to fill the time gap/wait time until the procurement process is finalize.
