The HDX Python Library is designed to simplify using the HDX API which is built on top of CKAN. The GET and POST requests are wrapped in Python methods and the HDX objects like datasets and resources are represented by Python classes. The library avoids CKAN syntax using instead on HDX terminology. This makes it easier to understand what will be triggered in HDX when calling a Python method.
