Overview
Humanitarian Response (HumanitarianResponse.info) is a specialized digital service of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) provided to the humanitarian community as part of OCHA's responsibility under the Inter-Agency Standing Committee's Operational Guidance on Responsibilities of Cluster/Sectors & OCHA in Information Management.
It is the primary dissemination mechanism for information related to a humanitarian response with in-country operational responders as the primary audience. There are two levels 1) global and 2) operational sites:

To activate a new site:
In a new sudden on-set a site can be activated very quickly (hours) and will normally be initiated by staff in HQ, however, the site might not be made visible until there is sufficient information on the site to be useful. If there is a need for a site outside of a sudden onset:
- Ask for support from field information services (FIS) in Geneva Istanbul or send an email to info@humanitarianresponse.info to determine if a new site is needed. Questions to consider are:
- How long will the site be needed?
- Is there a focal point for the site that will regularly update content and provide support to cluster/sector partners?
- What language is needed?
- Review other operational sites to determine how many sections the new site should have

To deactivate a site:
Once a site is no longer being used or updated the site can be deactivated please contact field information services (FIS) in Geneva Istanbul or send an email to info@humanitarianresponse.info

Description
Humanitarian Response (HumanitarianResponse.info) est un service digital spécialisé des Nations Unies – Bureau de la Coordination des Affaires Humanitaires (OCHA) fournis à la communauté humanitaire dans le cadre de la responsabilité de OCHA en vertu des directives opérationnelles du IASC sur les responsabilités des groupes/secteurs et OCHA en matière de gestion de l'information.
C'est le principal mécanisme de diffusion de l'information relative à une intervention humanitaire, les intervenants opérationnels à l'intérieur du pays constitue le principal public. Il existe deux niveaux : 1) les sites globaux et 2) les sites opérationnels :

Pour activer un nouveau site
En cas de nouvelle urgence soudaine : un nouveau site peut être activé très rapidement (quelques heures), ce dernier est normalement initié par le personnel du siège. Cependant, le site pourrait ne pas être rendu visible, et ce, tant qu'il n'existe pas suffisamment de renseignements sur le site pour qu’il soit utile.
- Demandez de l’aide à l’équipe FIS (Field Information Services) à Genève Istanbul ou envoyez un email à info@humanitarianresponse.info pour déterminer si l’ouverture d’un nouveau site est nécessaire. Les questions à considérer sont :
- Combien de temps le site sera-t-il nécessaire ?
- Existe-t-il un point focal pour le site qui puisse le mettre régulièrement à jour le contenu et apporter un soutien aux partenaires du cluster/secteur ?
- En quelle langue?
- Examiner d'autres sites opérationnels pour déterminer combien de sections le nouveau site doit comporter

Pour désactiver un site
Une fois qu'un site n'est plus utilisé ou mis à jour, le site peut être désactivé, pour ce faire : contactez l’équipe FIS (Field Information Services) à Genève Istanbul ou envoyez un email à info@humanitarianresponse.info
